Visitor, welcome to your CL:AIRE eAlert for March. We are proud to welcome many new and renewing members in March. The dialogue we have with our diverse and well-connected membership is key to the insight we have, and ultimately to the impact we're able to make. We saw this in full swing at our successful networking evening in Bristol and are already looking forward to the summer event in London in June. If you are interested in coming along, or in providing sponsorship, please complete the registration form. Across the industry, March saw the release of several important technical updates. Read on for guidance and publications from Defra, the EA, BSI, the Joint Research Centre, and SoBRA. At CL:AIRE, with funding from the Environment Agency, Association of Geotechnical & Geoenvironmental Specialists and Natural Resources Wales, we have updated and published searchable and easy‑to‑use online versions of DoE industry profiles. Building on the prototype tool and with expert reviewed content, the profiles incorporate modern contaminant information including PFAS and POPs.
As the clocks spring forward, our training programme is packed with important courses to help set you up for the remainder of the year. Places are filling up, so do book now to avoid missing out. The CL:AIRE Team |

CL:AIRE connects the industry: Bristol networking evening sets the scene for summer event CL:AIRE hosted another successful members' networking event, this time in Bristol at Racks Bar and Kitchen. The evening brought together professionals from across the sector for relaxed, informal conversation. CL:AIRE Members enjoyed small‑group discussions around current industry challenges, and it was great to see new connections being made too. The atmosphere was friendly and collaborative, with many people reconnecting with former colleagues while also making valuable new contacts over food and drinks.
A big thank you to our sponsors, DDE Remediation Solutions, Geosyntec Consultants, Remedia Group and UK Remediation for making the event possible. These networking evenings continue to provide a valuable space to develop relationships, explore new business opportunities and stay close to the latest thinking in our sector.
CL:AIRE will be hosting our Summer event on 4 June 2026 at De Hems Dutch Café Bar, London. If you are interested in coming along, or in providing sponsorship, please complete the registration form. | |
