The Draft International Standard ISO DIS 18400-203 Soil Quality: Sampling : Potentially contaminated sites has been published for comment. This standard will replace ISO 10381-5 which was not adopted as a British Standard.
At present it seems unlikely that this standard will be adopted as a British Standard because it overlaps with BS10175. However, it is important for UK based consultants to review and comment because it is likely to be widely adopted in other countries in Europe and generally around the world.
Any comments should be sent in the prescribed form to Jessy Mathew the Secretary of BS committee EH4 by 26 January 2016.
