As we near the end of 2021, we are already looking forward to next year and today we are launching our Training Programme for 2022. There are some familiar courses on offer (CAR-SOILTM, Verification of Gas Protection Systems, Non-Licensed Work including NNLW for Land Professionals) and some new ones that we hope you will find interesting: Good Practice for Risk Assessment for Coal Mine Gas Emissions and Introduction to Controlled Waters Detailed Quantitative Risk Assessment. The dates for the Definition of Waste Code of Practice training are still being finalised, so we will let you know about those next month.
Many of the courses will be offered at our new Training Centre in Reading and we will be letting you know more about that soon. The Verification of Gas Protection Systems course will be available in 2022 at a new training facility in Blackburn.
Important dates to note: our website will be undergoing maintenance between Christmas and New Year, and may be unavailable between close of business on Friday, 24 December and Tuesday morning, 4 January. We will try and keep the downtime to a minimum, but please don't count on the website being available during this period. The new Portal will be unaffected by the downtime.

- identify good practice to support effective, healthy and sustainable redevelopment of contaminated sites.
The key messages of the planning brief are of interest for local decision-makers, urban planners and practitioners, researchers, and civil society organisations.
