SuRF-UK has published an updated Tier 1 qualitative sustainability assessment tool. The SuRF-UK Steering Group has worked collaboratively with AECOM on updating the spreadsheet taking into account the updated SuRF-UK guidance (Supplementary Reports SR1 and SR2) published in late 2020. As before it provides a standardised way of completing a Tier 1 qualitative sustainable remediation assessment and is available free of charge. SuRF-UK hopes that this will be a very useful tool for industry to use, now sustainability assessments are actively encouraged on the new Land Contamination: Risk Management website
