Principal Membership is available for an annual contribution of £3,000 ex VAT.

CL:AIRE works with its Principal Members to raise their awareness of and pursue shared objectives in land, water and environmental management.

CL:AIRE develops major initiatives which directly benefit the industry (e.g. The Definition of Waste: Development Industry Code of Practice, Asbestos in Soil and Construction & Demolition Materials Code of Practice, SuRF-UK - Sustainable Remediation Framework and perform the Land Forum Secretariat).

CL:AIRE supports its Principal Members by providing information and guidance relating to the sustainable reuse of land. CL:AIRE develop best practice guides and provide training and assessment programmes. This helps companies raise their performance, minimise risks and gain greater recognition.

Balfour Beatty Vinci is a long-established joint venture between two global leaders in the delivery of critical infrastructure. Balfour Beatty and Vinci started working together over 30 years ago when both were members of the TransManche Link consortium which delivered the Channel Tunnel. Balfour Beatty Vinci is responsible for designing and building part of the most exciting and challenging railway project in Europe: HS2. Dounreay Site Restoration Limited (DSRL) is decommissioning Britain's former centre of fast reactor research and development. Owned by a consortium of Cavendish Nuclear, CH2M and AECOM, DSRL is funded by the NDA. The site is being returned to as near as practicable its original condition by; decommissioning and demolishing nuclear and non-nuclear facilities; segregating and packaging radioactive and non-radioactive wastes for storage or disposal; characterisation and remediation to ensure the site is safe for future generations. The experimental nature of many of its facilities means decommissioning requires innovation and great care, with Dounreay recognised as one of Europe's most complex nuclear site closure projects.
EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market leading expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall. All four partners bring specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects. EKFB has been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link.

High Speed 2 (HS2) the second high speed railway to be built in Britain (after HS1 which connects London to the Channel Tunnel). HS2 directly links London, Birmingham, the East Midlands, Sheffield, Leeds and Manchester. The network is planned to be operational in phases from 2026 to 2033. Peak hour capacity arriving and leaving London Euston will more than triple after HS2 is fully operational, increasing from 11,300 to 34,900 passengers each way.

The Northern Ireland Environment Agency is an Executive Agency within the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) in Northern Ireland operating within the context of the Department’s overall vision, strategic objectives and policies.
